The Baale of Owode community, High Chief Ajose Olusegun Aromire has congratulated the chairman of Bariga LCDA, Hon. David Kolade Alabi on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
According to chief Aromire who said Eid-el-Kabir celebration is one of the religious festivals celebrated all over the world with sanctity attached to it.
“Eid-el-Kabir is one important annual religious festival that brings Muslim faithful together all over the world to offer sacrifice to Almighty Allah as prescribed in the Holy Qur’an and this is an important occasion that must be observed with dignity”.
He continued “I also want to extend my Sallah message to the Bariga Muslim community, Lagos State, Nigeria and the world at large and asked them to remain steadfastness and imbibe in peaceful coexistence among other tribes while wishing them the best of Sallah celebration”.
Chief Aromire however, urged Muslim faithful who have enough to buy ram and food for the celebration to remember the needy while they continue to live with one another and shun any act capable of inciting one against the other.
“Without hesitation, I want to advise everyone to stay safe and follow all the COVID-19 precautions which will prevent the spread of the pandemic that has been ravaging the world over”. he warned
