The 2023 elections atmosphere in Somolu local government area of the state continues to get more interesting as aspirants are not resting on their oars in ensuring they get their political ambition on the right track with quite a number of them reported to have picked their nomination and expression of interest forms.

Somolu News reportedly gathered that Federal House of Representatives aspirant Hon. Rotimi Olowo picked the APC nomination and expression of interest forms for the House of Representatives last week Friday and shared the joyous moment with his teeming supporters who sang and danced like never before.
As part of the process, the lawmaker has met with the Chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu’Dullar’, the former Somolu Federal House Representatives member, Hon. Oluwole Diya and the top echelon of the party had put their signatures as a way of endorsing the ‘Four Star General’s candidature.
The lawmaker representing Somolu constituency I at the Lagos House of Assembly promised to continue to serve humanity meritoriously and diligently as he is doing presently in the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Somolu Constituency 1 in the House of Representatives.
Olumoko as fondly called, however, seek the collaboration and support of the APC Party leaders, delegates, and members in order for him to achieve his ambition of representing Somolu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives while urging his supporters to maintain peace and decorum during and after the party primary election.

Meanwhile, the former chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. Omogbolahan Bagostowe, the former Executive Secretary of Somolu local government, Hon. Biodun Orekoya, the former Sole Administrator of the council, Hon. Williams Lawanson, Printing Entrepreneur, Sheriff Adekoya, Businessman and Hotelier, Remi Ogbara, Real Estate icon, Babasehinde Ogunmuyiwa, and Lekan Osiyemi have all secured Lagos State House of Assembly nomination and expression forms to step into Hon. Rotimi Olowo’s caps and shoes come 2023 election billed for March 2023.
