Ex-Lagos council chief, Dullar, congratulates Gov. Ododo on second anniversary in office

The immediate past Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Lagos State, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu, popularly known as ‘Dullar’, and the Agba-Akin of Agboyi Kingdom, has congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the occasion of his second year anniversary in office, describing his leadership as purposeful, people-centred and impactful.

In a congratulatory message made available to Somolu Newspaper, Hon. Dullar lauded Governor Ododo for what he termed as inclusive governance, pro-people policies and unwavering commitment to human capital development, noting that the administration’s approach to leadership has remained second to none since assumption of office.

According to the former council boss, Governor Ododo’s government has demonstrated a clear understanding of the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Kogi State, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare delivery, youth empowerment, workers’ welfare and infrastructural renewal across the state.

“Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has, within two years, proven that governance can be humane, inclusive and responsive. His people-oriented programmes and emphasis on human capital development reflect a leader who truly understands the needs of his people,” Dullar said.

He further commended the governor for sustaining peace and stability in the state, while strengthening institutions and promoting unity among diverse communities, adding that such attributes have contributed significantly to the steady progress being recorded in Kogi State.

Hon. Dullar expressed optimism that the remaining years of Governor Ododo’s tenure would witness even greater achievements, urging the people of Kogi State to continue supporting the administration to enable it to deliver more dividends of democracy.

He concluded by wishing Governor Ododo good health, wisdom and renewed strength as he continues to steer the affairs of Kogi State towards sustainable development and inclusive growth.
