Ikosi-Isheri Mayoress congratulates Seyi Tinubu on Okanlomo of Yorubaland title

Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada and Barrister Seyi Tinubu

The Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, has congratulated Barrister Seyi Tinubu on his conferment as the Okanlomo of Yorubaland by the Alaafin of Oyo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade.

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the good people of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Princess Bada described the honour as well-deserved and a recognition of Tinubu’s commitment to service, leadership and positive contributions to societal development.

She noted that Barr. Tinubu, the son of President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has continued to demonstrate qualities worthy of emulation, particularly in promoting unity, youth engagement, and community development across Yorubaland and Nigeria as a whole.

According to the Mayoress, the conferment reflects enduring Yoruba values of excellence, responsibility and dedication to the collective progress of the people, values which she said Barr. Tinubu has consistently upheld this through his public and private engagements.

Princess Bada further expressed optimism that the prestigious traditional title would inspire the recipient to greater heights of service to humanity, cultural preservation and national development.

She prayed that the honour would strengthen his resolve to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the Yoruba race and the unity of the Nigerian nation.
