Strength College Lagos holds Graduation and Annual Prize Giving Day amidst pomp and pageantry

It was an exciting moment for the graduating students, parents, and guardians at the 2024 edition of Strength College’s graduation and prize-giving day held at their school hall, in the Bariga area of the state on the 3rd of August, 2024.

The well-attended event which drew dignitaries from the crème de la creme of the society, no doubt, brought to the fore the significance of moral and academic excellence for which the school is known where the students exhibited artistic values through choreography, debate, talk show, newscasting, multi-cultural and academic activities.

Speaking to Somolu News shortly after the event, the Proprietor of the schools, Pastor Joshua Aremu said Strength Group of Schools had no time been found wanting when it comes to producing top-notch students stating that the school had been rooted not only in academics excellence but also in moral values”.

He continued, “Annually, we appreciate our students by awarding the best students in different subjects not leaving out the graduating class from nursery, Primary, JSS3 to the SS3 and this year’s edition has been wholesome”.

“Strength School has been one of the foremost schools in the Somolu/Bariga axis with academic excellence and great performance. The event alone has described what the college is made of with students exhibiting artistic values through choreography, debate, talk show, newscasting, multi-cultural and academic activities”.

“And talking about moral value, we’re on top of the game. We all know that menace of immoral acts in society today is at an alarming point where there’s no respect, no value for culture, and character but here at Strength Group of Schools, academic excellence and moral values are our priority”.

Similarly, one of the parents and the father of the outgoing Senior Boy, Mr. Henry Anokwuru applauded the management and the staff of Strength Group of Schools for doing a yeoman’s job while he congratulated the graduating students for their sheer doggedness.

“With what I know and have seen here so far, the school management deserves to be commended especially the Proprietor, Pastor Aremu, and the Principal, Mr. Toheeb for ensuring the students get the needed attention as far as the academic and moral values are concerned”.

“Let me also say that among all the schools around this area, Strength Group of Schools stands out. Not because I have my wards here but because parents and academics who know much and say much about many of the schools around here and when I compare, I give credit to Strength Schools”.

“And at this point, I would like to advise parents and guardians to ensure they give their best as far as parenting is concerned while the teachers should also play their roles to achieve the set goal”.
