Somolu Legislative Arms embarks on inspection tour

The Somolu Ninth Legislative Arms embarked on an oversight function today, to assess the progress of ongoing projects in Local Government, where they met with the Council Engineer, Engr. Ekundayo and his staff.

The Councillors were led by the Chairman House Committee on Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Oyeyiola Tunde James, to the construction sites of Wesley Memorial Primary School and Olaleye Market to evaluate the status respectively.

While addressing the Contractors and site Engineers, Hon. Oyeyiola revealed that his committee was set up to monitor the quality of work done and also get adequate information on the challenges encountered for proper assessment.

Meanwhile, the Engineer-in-charge assured the Legislators of a high-quality job and also affirmed that the projects would be completed within the specified timeframe and without any delay.

Furthermore, the duo of the Leader of the House, Hon Yomi Osunkoya, and the Majority Leader, Hon. Abdul-Lateef Muibi implored the Contractor majorly on the Olaleye market project, so as to put the Market Men and Women into consideration and against any hindrances.
