One of the first set of players who came to the limelight through the annual Channels Kids Cup football championship Idris Alabi has revealed that Nigeria Super Eagles player, Alex Iwobi is one player he loves with a passion.
The talented player who represented his school, Ladi-Lak Primary School, Bariga, Lagos made the revelation while speaking to herosports.com.ng recently where he described Alex Iwobi as one player he respects so much owing to his style of play, his attitude both on the field of play and off the pitch.
“I must confess at this point that Iwobi is a respected and disciplined player that I love and cherish so much and I will continue to pray for his success on and off the pitch. And if one must be successful in life, one must wish others well and I wish him the very best now and always”.
“Although, there are many others that I love too but I will choose him above others anytime any day. He’s my hero and I’m looking forward to meeting him whenever he’s around in Nigeria soon. he posited
Idris Alabi is a goal poacher who takes his chances when he sees one. He captained his school, Ladi-Lak to victory in the first and second edition of the Channels Kids Cup football championship which earned him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the game.
Alabi started his football career at the age of 7years and plowed his way to Green Star football Academy from where he grow from leaps and bound. The final year Accounting student at the Kwara State University, Offa, Kwara State is currently planning to join one of the Nigerian club sides to pursue his football career.
