The family of the late Madam Mojisola Ruth Abeni Kale has announced the final burial arrangements for the revered matriarch, who passed on recently at the age of 84.

Madam Kale will be laid to rest on Friday, May 8, 2026, in a ceremony expected to attract family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers from across Lagos State and beyond.

According to the burial programme released by the family, the Service of Songs and Tributes in honour of the late matriarch will take place on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 13, African Church st, off Wuraola Street, Shogunle, Oshodi, Lagos.

The solemn gathering will provide an opportunity for loved ones and admirers to pay their last respects and share fond memories of the departed.

The final rites will continue with a Funeral Mass on Friday, May 8, 2026, at St. Dominic Catholic Church 356, Herbert Macaulay Way, 10 am. After the service, the remains of Madam Kale will be committed to Mother Earth the same day by her close family.

Meanwhile, the reception and social event will take place at AS Badeh Event Centre, Nigeria Army Resettlement Centre, Charity Oshodi, Lagos.

Late Madam Mojisola Ruth Abeni Kale was widely described by family members and acquaintances as a devoted Christian, caring mother, and a compassionate community figure who lived a life marked by humility, kindness, and dedication to family values.

Her passing has been described as a great loss to the Kale family and all those who came in contact with her during her lifetime.

However, relatives expressed gratitude to God for a fulfilled life and the lasting legacy she left behind.
The burial ceremony is expected to draw prominent personalities from the political arena, community leaders, religious figures, and well-wishers who will gather to celebrate the life and times of the late Madam Kale.

Madam Mojisola Ruth Abeni Kale is survived by children, grandchildren, sisters, cousins and nephews.
