‘Dullar’, who recently concluded his tenure as the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, made his ambition known amid growing support from political associates, community leaders, and residents who have commended his track record in grassroots development and good governance.
In his declaration held at the Somolu Party Secretariat situated at Onipanu, Somolu area of the state, the former council boss emphasised his commitment to effective representation, people-oriented legislation, and the advancement of Somolu’s socio-economic interests at the national level. He noted that his experience in local governance has equipped him with the necessary insight into the needs of the people, which he intends to translate into a broader legislative platform.
“I am stepping forward to serve my people at a higher level, to ensure that Somolu has a strong voice in national discourse and that our collective aspirations are adequately represented,” he stated.
Dullar, who also holds the traditional title of Agba-Akin of Agboyi Kingdom, highlighted his achievements while in office, including infrastructural development, youth empowerment initiatives, and community-based programs aimed at improving the welfare of residents.
Political observers within the Somolu axis have described his declaration as a significant development ahead of the forthcoming elections, noting that his popularity and administrative experience could position him as a formidable contender in the race.
