Somolu LG Chairman, Ashimi, embraces new senior staff, advocates diligence, punctuality

During the meeting, Chairman Ashimi emphasised a culture of excellence, urging the new officials to embrace their roles with a high sense of responsibility. He stated that the success of the local government depends on the collective commitment of its workforce to serve the people of Somolu.
Furthermore, he outlined core expectations to ensure a seamless integration into the local government’s operations, including the preservation of a disciplined work ethic to meet the needs of the LG promptly, fostering a collaborative environment where staff work in harmony and upholding professional standards and punctuality.
“Our goal is a greater Somolu, and that can only be achieved through diligence and a unified front. I call upon our experienced staff to provide the necessary guidance to our new colleagues, ensuring institutional growth and a professional atmosphere built on mutual respect and regard for hierarchy,” the Chairman said.
The Human Resources Officer (HRO), Mr Muftau Oyefolu, who led the delegation to the Chairman’s office, expressed appreciation for the warm reception. He advised the staff to strictly adhere to the Chairman’s admonitions, seeking their unalloyed cooperation and dedication to duty.
Mr. Oyefolu also noted that this transition period is an opportunity for the new staff to prove their mettle and contribute significantly to the current administration.
