A Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) officer, Adewale Adetimirin, was on Saturday pleasantly surprised by his wife, Mrs Oluwatoyin Solape Adetimirin, who hosted a classy and well-organised birthday celebration in his honour.
The surprise party, held at the family residence, drew a large turnout of family members, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the celebrant’s life and virtues in an atmosphere of joy and warmth.
Guests were lavishly entertained with a variety of delicacies and drinks as they wined and dined in celebration of the celebrant’s good health and continued success.
Speaking during the event, Mrs Adetimirin explained that the birthday celebration was deliberately planned as a surprise to catch her husband completely unaware. She described the celebrant as not just a husband, but a dependable partner and an exceptional father who deserves to be celebrated.
According to her, “My husband, Adewale Adetimirin, is a complete gentleman, caring, loving, disciplined, and supportive. He is more than just my husband; he is the father of my children and a pillar of strength in our family. He deserves every good thing that comes his way, and this is just a small way of appreciating him.”
The celebrant, who was visibly moved by the gesture, expressed deep gratitude to his wife for the thoughtful surprise and thanked all guests for honouring his invitation and sharing in his joy.
He described the occasion as one of the most memorable moments of his life and reaffirmed his commitment to family values, service, and integrity in his career with the NSCDC.
