“My dear people of Somolu, party faithful, supporters at home and abroad, and lovers of progress, with deep gratitude and a heart full of love, I address you today not as a candidate, but as a son of Somolu who remains committed to the unity, peace, and prosperity of our great local government”. Anifowoshe said.
Emphasizing that his decision was not made under duress, he said, “This decision is not born out of pressure or weakness, but out of love for Somolu, for our great party, and for the brighter future we all dream of. True leadership is knowing when to press forward and when to step aside for a greater cause.”
