Somolu, Lagos – The Aenur Ridoh Islamic Family Foundation has announced that its Annual Mawlud Nabbiy celebration, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), will occur on October 19, 2024.
This significant event will be hosted at the U.N.A. Primary School playground, Off Asubiaro Street, Morocco, Somolu, Lagos.
The Chief Missioner of the organization, Fadh Sheik Dr. Moh’d Basheer Ahmad (RTA), emphasized the importance of this celebration for the Islamic community. He noted that the event would allow spiritual reflection, learning, and unity among Muslims.
The event will feature prominent guest lecturers who will address critical issues affecting the nation and the global Islamic community. Sheik Prof. Saheed Olurotimi Timehin will deliver a lecture on “Salvaging the Nation from Total Collapse: An Islamic Perspective,” which is expected to provide insightful solutions to national issues from an Islamic viewpoint.
Additionally, Fadh Sheik Saheed Alfa Nla Eleha AbdulMajid (RTA) will speak on “The Causes of Challenges Faced by Sufism and Sufists in the Global Islamic Arena.” This topic aims to shed light on the difficulties encountered by Sufi practitioners and propose ways to overcome these challenges.
The Mawlud Nabbiy celebration is anticipated to attract a large number of attendees from the local community and beyond. It promises to be a day filled with spiritual enrichment, educational discourse, and community bonding.
