Somolu Market Taskforce Commends Sunday Market, Others

– reiterates DULLAR Commitment to Markets

The Somolu Market taskforce as led by the Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government on Market Matters, Hon. Tajudeen Rasak continued their tour early this morning to assessed the level of the environmental compliance on the part of the Market women/men and shop owners across the Somolu Markets.

The first port of call was the Sunday market of the local government where the team leader, Hon. Rasak appraised the market leaders and the shop owners for a job well done and quickly availed the gathering of DULLAR resolved to extend the dividend of democracy to the markets as promised during his campaign which he said it will be rolled out soonest.

At the Alarape Market, the team did an extensive tour of the market to ensure if they adhere strictly to the cleaning of their environment.

While reiterating the Chairman resolved on Somolu Markets, Hon. Rasak used the opportunity to clear some misconceptions concerning some of the statements he made during their visit to the market last week.

It would be recalled that the team immediately it was constituted three weeks ago by the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul-Hamed Salawu Dullar did not rest on it oars towards bringing environmental sanity to Somolu Markets.
