A staunch member of Somolu All Progressive Congress (APC) and Lagos state House of Assembly aspirant, Mrs Maryam Owolabi Bada has described the death of one of the political leaders in Somolu political arena, Hon. Taiwo Ahmed Oduola as a huge loss to All Progressive Congress family in the local government and its environs.
Bada made this known while griefing about leader’s death on Thursday evening after an exco meeting held to finalize the 8 days prayer for the leader.
“Take it or leave it, Hon. Oduola was a reliable and respectable political leader and a mentor one can be proud of anywhere, any day. A goal-getter and a trustworthy fellow who’ll never be compromised”. she stated
“When I joined Politics many years ago, he was one of the leaders in my ward who welcomed me with an open hand and tutored me about the nitty-gritty of the game in politics”.
Meanwhile, Mrs Maryam Owolabi Bada seized the opportunity to pray for the family he left behind and urged the Somolu APC and local government authority to find a way of putting a smile on the faces of the wife and children.
Hon. Oduola Taiwo has been buried according to Islamic rite in his home town, Oke Eri near Ijebu Ode, Ogun State while the 8 days (Fidau) prayer has been scheduled to take place at Somolu local government Hall on Tuesday 9th July 2019.
