In the newest episode of project facilitation and execution in Ilaje axis of Bariga LCDA (Somolu 2 State constituency), the experienced lawmaker and principal officer of the Lagos state house of assembly, Hon. Abiru (Wiseken) on Thursday 29th August 2019 commissioned yet another fully completed public utility in the area.
You would recall without much difficulty, the series infrastructural development that has greeted the area in recent times. To further add to this mix was the facilitation of modern-day *community water borehole* in a bid to complement other completed projects as well as eradicate the age-long experience of a shortage of clean & safe water supply to the community.
Hon Abiru in his characteristic sense of profound gratitude offered his deep appreciation to the audience for their support and urge them to not only make most of the new amenities but provide optimum maintenance so as to allow for project longevity. He went further to admonish those residents who were empowered with employment opportunities at the facility to be of good conduct even in their capacity as ambassadors of the community and of course, Bariga at large.
In attendance was no other but the Chairman of Bariga LCDA who also doubles as the President of Nigerian League of Local Government Chairmen. Also in attendance were traditional leaders, local government functionaries, APC members, residents, member of the press and the general public.
