Ramadan: Somolu LG Chairman, Ashimi, hosts Muslim clerics from Bariga LCDA

…seeks prayers for council development

The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Lateef Ashimi, on Tuesday, as the Holy Month of Ramadan reaches its 28th day, hosted Muslim Clerics from Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA) at the Banquet Hall of the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Administrative Building.

The delegation led by the anchor, Ustadh Atharwa, Chairman Ashimi sought prayers for the development of the Council, while religious leaders, including Sheikh Muhammad-ul Bashir Abiola Ahmad, Grand Chief Imam Sulaiman Odunayo, and Alfa Ameer Sulaiman Olamilekan Sohurr, among others, took turns collectively beseeching the Almighty’s presence during the gathering.

Meanwhile, the Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Tunde James Oyeyiola gave the vote of thanks to appreciate the delegates.

Among the delegates received in the presence of the 10th Legislative Arms and Executive Council members were the Council of Bariga Chief Imams, the Council of Bariga Imam Ratibis, the Union of Arabic Teachers, Firasatul ‘Arifin (Circle of Missioners, Bariga), and Jamwal (Association of Alasalatu, Bariga).
