The Aenur Ridoh Islamic Family Foundation has invited members of the public to participate in a special spiritual gathering to commemorate Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power), one of the most sacred nights in the Islamic calendar.
According to an announcement released by the foundation, the programme will take place on the night of March 17/18, 2026, corresponding with the 28th/29th night of Ramadan, at the Aenur Ridoh Central Mosque, 8/9 Makinde Street, Gbagbo-Of Ijede, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The event, scheduled to begin at 11:00 p.m. and continue till Fajr prayers, will provide Muslim faithful with an opportunity for intense prayers, supplications, and spiritual reflection in search of divine blessings associated with the sacred night.
The programme will be hosted by renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Dr Muhd Bashir Abiola Ahmad (R.T.A.), who serves as the Khalifatul Khulafaul Lagos Central Division.
Organisers of the event emphasised that Laylatul Qadr, often referred to as the Night of Power, holds immense spiritual significance in Islam as it is believed to be the night when the Holy Qur’an was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad and when prayers and good deeds carry immense rewards.
The foundation, whose motto is “Remembrance of Allah is the Utmost,” encouraged Muslims and other interested participants to attend the gathering for prayers and spiritual upliftment during the concluding days of the holy month of Ramadan.
