…to link Jemilugba, Okuyiga, and Akanni Bashua
The Chairman Ashimi-led Administration of Somolu Local Government has on Tuesday, 10th of February 2026, commenced the excavation of Sanusi Road (Phase II) in the Ward B Area (Bashua West).
Recall that the current administration reconstructed and delivered Phase I last year with interlocking stones, aimed at giving the street a renewed face for economic value.
Following the completion of its drainage channels, Sanusi Road will also be paved with interlocking stones after its subgrade preparation and grading, according to the Engineer-in-charge. It will also be linked with nearby streets, including the ongoing Jemilugba Lane and Okuyiga Close, alongside Akanni Bashua in the same ward.
