In a statement released on Wednesday, Ashimi described the appointment as a landmark achievement not only for Hon. Ojomu but also for Somolu Local Government and Lagos State at large. He noted that the elevation of the Vice Chairman to a national leadership position is a clear recognition of his dedication, administrative competence, and unwavering integrity in public service.
According to the council boss, Hon. Ojomu’s appointment reflects years of committed service and outstanding contributions to grassroots governance, adding that his leadership qualities have consistently stood out within the local administration.

As National Auditor of ALGONVC, Hon. Ojomu will be responsible for overseeing fiscal transparency, accountability, and the overall financial health of the association, among other strategic responsibilities.
