In just four months of assuming office, one of the dedicated Councillors in the Somolu local government area of the state, Hon. Folarin Olubiyi, popularly known as Coded, has distributed cash palliatives to party members and residents of Ijebutedo Ward C to ease the burden of hardship, especially during this festive season.
He continued, “The essence of this initiative is to put smiles on the faces of my constituents who voted for me during the electioneering period with a promise to give them dividends of democracy, which is what I have just done a while ago, and I promise to continue to see to their welfare when and where necessary”.
“Aside from this cash palliative programme, there are other line-up programmes for the youths and women in the community that will give them the sense of belonging they crave for”. He posited.
Similarly, another beneficiary, Mr Tajudeen Oloko, never hesitates to appreciate Hon. Olubiyi Folarin for his ‘heart of gold’ remembering his people this festive season, noting that such a gesture assured them that they have an exemplary leader and representative worthy of emulation.
However, in his closing remarks, Coded as fondly called, thanked the Immediate Past Chairman of Somolu LG, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ the current council Chairman, Hon. Lateef Ashimi, party leaders, members and the residents for their unflinching support, while he urged the residents to validate their voter’s card for the upcoming 2027 general election.
