2025 Polls: Ward E APC faithful, street captains in Somolu begin house-to-house campaign

Ahead of the 2025 local government polls, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Somolu Local Government Area has officially kicked off its grassroots campaign, with Ward E leading the charge.

To secure victory in the upcoming elections, the APC in Ward E activated its faithful leaders, members, and Street Captains for an intensive house-to-house campaign (Day-1) today, Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

This direct outreach aims to engage residents and mobilise strong support from the general populace. Their clarion call is to elect Hon. Lateef Ashimi as Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Ojomu as Vice Chairman, and Hon. Afeez Raheem as the Ward’s Councillorship Candidate.

The ruling party, which currently holds sway in Somolu, appears determined to consolidate its base and win over undecided voters through this direct engagement approach.
