TAMPAN Somolu/Bariga rally behind Hon. Adedeji as Bariga LCDA’s first female No. 1 citizen

The members of TAMPAN Somolu/Bariga and its Women’s Wing on Tuesday, May 27, 2025,  paid a significant courtesy visit to Hon. Bukola Omope Adedeji, affirming their unwavering solidarity and endorsement as the next Chairperson of Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA) as Hon. Adedeji is set to make history as the first female No. 1 Citizen of Bariga LCDA.

During the visit, Ambassador Ogunse A.R. Tosin, Chairman of TAMPAN Somolu/Bariga, conveyed the association’s full support. He pledged that TAMPAN would actively collaborate with Hon. Adedeji’s official campaign team and take her message to the grassroots to ensure a resounding victory in the upcoming LG polls scheduled for July 2025.

Ambassador Solape Oyinloye – Ogo Bariga, Coordinator of the Women’s Wing of TAMPAN Somolu/Bariga, praised Hon. Adedeji’s unwavering dedication to serving the people of Bariga, describing her as a beacon of hope and progress for the community.

Veteran actor Pa. Sesan Adio (Pa Ojoge) and Comrade Yinusa Eletiko echoed similar sentiments, reaffirming the association’s confidence in Hon. Adedeji’s leadership abilities and vision. They expressed their belief that she would build upon the impactful legacy of Hon. Kolade David Alabi.

In her address, Hon. Bukola Adedeji outlined her mission for Bariga, encapsulated in the acronym (I-P-E-S-E):

 I -infrastructural & community engagement
P – pry health care delivery
E -education youth & women empowerment
S -security & safety
E -environment, economic growth & tourism

She also emphasized that the incoming administration will be continuation of numerous fantastic projects by the ongoing administration led by Hon. Kolade Alabi David and that the incoming administration shouldn’t be expected to do less of beautiful things that has been done by Hon. Kolade led administration.

She implored everyone to come out massively to play their roles by voting her as right choice that Bariga needed.
