‘Create Ministry of Land Bureau’- Kogi LG Chairmanship aspirant begs Ododo

Okene local government chairmanship aspirant on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) Hon. Ahmed Ahmed Ohinoyi has made a passionate appeal to the Executive Governor of Kogi state; His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to establish the Ministry of Land Bureau which he said will a long way in addressing the pressing issue of unemployment in the state, as seen in other states that have successfully implemented similar initiatives.

Prince Ahmed Ahmed made this submission while speaking to Somolu News correspondent on Thursday 15th August, 2024 during a phone conversation noting that the establishment of this ministry will not only enhance the land administration and management but also streamline the land acquisition and allocation processes.

He continued, “Establishing the Ministry of Land Bureau will no doubt address the challenge of unemployment in the state and as well foster economic growth and development. This will be a valuable addition to the state government’s structure. When this Ministry is being in place, it will create a room for job opportunities for our teeming youths”.

Meanwhile, Prince Ahmed,  had a few weeks ago withdrew from the Okene local government chairmanship race noting that he had accepted the decision of the party leadership led by Alhaji Abdullahi Bello (State Chairman) of All Progressive Congress while expressing his profound gratitude to Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ for his leadership and guidance.

In addition, he poured encomium on his followers for their loyalty and unflinching supports while he appealed to his fellow contestants to accept the decision, exercise calm, and refrain from making disparaging remarks about party leaders.

In his conclusion, he also commended Hajia Habibat Onumoko and the stakeholders for their wise decision, taken into account sentimental factors and ensured a balanced representation.
