To alleviate the suffering of the people and make life more comfortable for the people of Somolu community, the Executive Chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ recently launched Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu Food initiative in his domain.
The launching event which took place at the premises of Agunbiade Primary School paraded the CDC and all the CDA’s Executives.
Speaking to Somolu News correspondent, the Chairman of Somolu LG, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ described the Sanwo-Olu food intervention programme as a welcome development that will go a long way in alleviating the suffering of the people not only in Somolu but across the state, especially during this hard times noting that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had prioritized the welfare of Lagosians which said was paramount to his administration’s T.H.E.M.E.S agenda.
In the same vein, the Somolu CDC chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Inuolajin Tella in his submission said the food palliative was part of the dividend of democracy which in the long run will have a huge impact on Lagosians thereby reducing the economic hardship in the society.
Similarly, the immediate past CDC chairman, Mr. Dapo Oduguwa in his remarks described Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s move as a right step in the right direction stressing that alleviating people’s suffering at this critical moment was the best step to take.
Meanwhile, Mr. Oduguwa in his closing remarks prayed for God’s guidance and blessings over Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his executive not leaving out Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ who’s piloting the affairs at the local government level.
