Somolu LG Chairman ‘Dullar’ reiterates commitment to vibrant security of lives and properties under his watch

Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to enhancing security within the community. Addressing political and community leaders from the All Progressives Congress and Community Development Association in Ward F (Bajulaiye/Fola-Agoro) of Somolu, Chairman ‘Dullar’ emphasized the imperative need to build and expand a more functional police station in the Bashua area.

During the gathering at the construction site of the New Council Secretariat in Bajulaiye/Folagoro, Chairman ‘Dullar’ articulated the government’s responsibility to provide law enforcement agencies with suitable and comfortable working environments. Recognizing their crucial role in protecting lives and properties, he underscored the importance of government support in ensuring their effectiveness.
The event also commemorated the late Ex-CDA Chairman, Mr. Elliot Olusegun, with joint prayers and a minute of silence observed by all attendees, seeking divine mercy for his soul and blessings for his family.
Construction workers were busy working while the council chairman was being taken around the working area.
Hon. Adefalujo Ademola Olisa, accompanied by Alhaji F. O. Bakare, the Somolu APEX Leaders, lauded Chairman ‘Dullar’ for his significant contributions to community development. They praised his relentless efforts in executing monumental infrastructural projects across all political wards in Somolu LGA. Additionally, inquiries were made about the proposed Shopping Mall for the community, reflecting shared aspirations for local progress and prosperity.
