Foremost Lagos Politician and Hotelier for burial, January 27th, 2024

The final burial rite of the late foremost hotelier and politician, Hon. Chief Jonathan Adepoju Kehinde Ogunade who was part of grassroots politics in the Second Republic under the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) has been slated for 27th of January, 2024 at his country home, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state.

The Octogenarian died early on Wednesday 15th November 2023 at the ripe age of 88.

According to a family source who spoke to Somolu Newspaper said, the Ijebu-born Chief and former Chairman of Central Hotel, Somolu, Lagos will be interred on the 27th of January, 2024 after Service of Song/Wake-Keep Service on 26th at his residence 70, Eruwon Road, Opposite Technical College, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

Farewell Service will be held on Saturday 27th, January, 2023 at the Cathedral Church of Saviour, Ita-Olowajoda, Ijasi, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state by 10:00 am prompt while the deceased will be laid to rest at the Ijebu-Ode Christian Cemetery, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

Meanwhile, the entertainment of guests will take place on Saturday 27th January 2023 at Ayo Awoshogba Hall, Adefisan Junction, Ejinrin Road, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

Thanksgiving Service will come up on Sunday 28th January, 2024 at Cathedral Church of Saviour, Ita-Olowajoda, Ijasi, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state.

Hon. Chief Jonathan Adepoju Kehinde Ogunade was one of the finest and most intelligent political leaders and mobilizers in the Somolu/Bariga community whose contributions to politics, peace, and unity in Somolu community and its environs cannot be forgotten even after his demise.
