It was a funfair galore as top political stalwarts, members of the family and friends stormed Okesuna resident of Special Assistant to Somolu Council Chairman on Sports; Hon. Afeez Raheem’s birthday party popularly known in the political circle as Gafara to celebrate him as he adds another glorious year on Monday 10^th July, 2023.

The elated ‘Birthday Boy’ who clad in a white Designers T-Shirt and Short Knickers was all over the place exchanging pleasantries with his guests while servers were dishing out delicious food and chilled drinks to the guests coupled with One-Man Music Band who was on the ground with good vibes that kept many of the Owambe lovers on their feet for hours.

Speaking to Somolu News, the wife of the celebrant, Mrs Omolewa Raheem who was also known in the political arena as Queen Yetty described the celebrant as a wonderful, caring, and dedicated husband who care about people around him in the community.

She added, “It’s good to celebrate one’s life when one adds another wonderful year and that’s why we decided to celebrate in our little way in appreciation of God’s mercy in our lives and as you can see, quite a number of Somolu politicians are here to celebrate with us and we appreciate them for coming to celebrate with us”. She enthused.

The Caterer cum politician, however, wished her husband a more prosperous life in good health and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him his heart’s desire.

Hon. Dullar who was ably represented by the Secretary to the local government (SLG), Hon. Dele Afolabi described the celebrant as a dedicated, articulate, and loyal aide who’d never be found wanting in discharging his duty noting that the celebrant was such a good exemplary and youthful leader the community deserves. he stated.
