Somolu LG boss swears-in new Supervisory Councillor, Special Assistant on Tourism and Culture

As part of the effort to further enhance good governance in the Somolu community, the Executive Chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ has appointed Hon. Anjorin Nurudeen Damilare as the Supervisory Councillor on Tourism and Culture and Joseph Onosolease as Special Assistant (SA) respectively.

The swearing-in ceremony which took place on Thursday 18th May 2023 at the Council Secretariat, Shipeolu Street, Lagos had top executive members of the council, All Progressive Congress (APC) top brass, family, friends, and other notable personalities in attendance.

In his remarks, the council chairman, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu further reiterated his commitment towards ensuring bringing socio-economic development to the community through good governance and dedicated leadership. Meanwhile, the appointees were presented with their letters of engagement while the chairman urged them to use their wealth of experience in discharging their duties so as to move the Somolu community to the next level.

Meanwhile, the former Legislative Aids, Youth leader, Fadeyi, chairman of Ward Committee on Grassroots Sports, SSA on Youth and Sports, fourth-time Councillorship aspirant, Hon. Anjorin Nurudeen Damilare poured encomium on the multiple award-winning chairman for the honour he accorded him while he promised to put in his possible best.
