Trashusers, clean-up Lion Beach Eleganzer in celebration of 2022 World Clean-Up Day

Trashusers, a plastic waste collection organization took to the Lion Beach Eleganza in Lagos state to celebrate 2022 World Clean-up Day.
This was in partnership with LASEPA, Just Recycle Initiative, FBRA, Lekan Bakare Foundation amongst many other young volunteers, the mission of the clean-up exercise was to rid the community of plastic wastes as part of its commitment to environmental preservation during this year’s World Clean-up Day.
It resonates organization’s resolve in intensifying awareness on waste separation for recycling and measures of curbing environmental pollution caused by food and beverage packaging waste.
According to Seun Bode, the Trashusers Founder, the major objective of Trashusers is aimed at zero waste, to ensure trashes are being recycled and taken advantage of because it’s no doubt that the advantages of trash can not be underestimated.
However, Mrs. Yetunde Atoyebi a representative of LASEPA encourages the volunteers to inculcate the attitude toward beach cleaning, she stressed that plastics do not degrade and for that reason it will negatively affect the aqua’s lives, adding that the trashes picked up from the beaches can turn out to be many when taken seriously.
