It’s yet another electrifying moment for one of the Somolu All Progressive Congress (APC) party stalwarts, Hon. Emmanuel Ademola Shoga as family members, friends, political elites, and well-wishers have been bombarding him with birthday messages as the Ijebu-born politician is set to celebrate his 78th birthday anniversary on Thursday 22nd September 2022.
The Somolu council chairman; Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu Dullar, in his birthday message, described Ward E political bigwig as a committed, selfless public servant and political leader of high repute noting that he had displayed pragmatic leadership with selflessness and dedication.
”On behalf of my wife, Mrs. Florence Salawu, and the good people of Somolu Community, I join family, friends, political associates, leaders, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to congratulate leader Baba Shoga, the top political leader in Ward E, on his 78th birthday.
”Baba Shoga, in the last three decades, has distinguished himself as a successful public officer and political leader.
”On this occasion of his 78th birthday, I wish him good health and wisdom, as he continues to render more services to our community.” Ahmed ‘Dullar’ said.
Meanwhile, the former Ward E councillor and former speaker of the House; Hon. Segun Fehintola, in his congratulatory message, described him as a political icon whose contributions to grassroots politics in ward E and Somolu community cannot be underestimated.
“Baba Shoga is one political leader that has done wonderfully well in the area of leadership as far as ward E and Somolu in its entirety. He’s a leader that commands respect anyday, anytime. I cannot but wish him the very best as he celebrates his 78th birthday anniversary. May the good Lord bless him with more fruitful years in good health and sound mind.” He prayed.
In the same vein, the former Ward E councillor, and SA to Somolu LG Chairman; Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu on Health, Hon. Koya Olayinka-Sodipe hinted that Apex leader Ademola Shoga fondly called Baba Shoga remains a front-liner when it comes to politics in ward E in particular and Somolu by extension. A leader and democrat par excellence.
He added, “He’s a father, he’s a leader and someone that loves people to be around him. In fact, he introduced somebody like me into politics and I have been with him for a very long time and he’s one of the very few that we could say he’s a leader per excellence. And on this note, I wish him long life and prosperity and I wish he still lives to see many more fruitful years to come”.
Similarly, Hon. Tunde Oladejo Munir, a two-time councillor in Ward E described Baba Shoga as a faithful party leader, a political legend who has the interest of the people at heart. A grassroots politician who will always ensure things are done in a proper way and manner.
He continued, “Baba Shoga is a partisan person who carries every member of the party under his watch along in everything he’s doing, a nice and straightforward personality, so to say. I wish him many prosperous years ahead.” He claimed.
However, the Special Adviser to Somolu Council Chairman, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ on Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Mrs. Maryam Owolabi-Bada in her felicitation message said Baba Shoga was a great leader of the people worth celebrating for his life of consistent commitment to democratic rule, especially his contributions to governance at the grassroots level.
Hon. Bada added that Baba Shoga is a reliable, trustworthy, and committed political juggernaut and a fatherly figure whose dedication and selflessness has elevated others to the top positions and as well move the party to the next level.
