Popular Lagos spot bar owner loses mother

Death they say is inevitable. The owner of a popular Lagos spot bar at Abimbola street in Somolu local government area of Lagos state AY Lounge and Bar, Mrs. Oyelayo Afolabi has lost her beloved mother and caregiver, Mrs. Comfort Taiyelolu to the cold hand of death, aged 85 years.

The Octogenarian was reported to have joined her creator a few weeks ago after a brief illness.

The daughter of the deceased, Mrs. Afolabi made this available to Somolu News and said she’s happy that her mother lived a fulfilled life describing her as a wonderful personality that a sane person will ever wish to have as a mother.

She added, “Maami is a disciplined and dedicated Muslim who taught me to be upright in all my doings. Although, we cannot question God for doing what He did. Who are we to question Him? He giveth and He only can do otherwise. She concluded

Friends and associates have started paying their tributes to the family while the condolence register has been opened in honour of the departed soul both in Lagos and Ipetumodu in Osun state.

Meanwhile, Mrs Comfort Taiyelolu has since been buried according to Islamic rite in Moro, Ipetumodu, Osun State while the deceased daughter prayed to God to grant her eternal rest

Mrs. Comfort is survived by a daughter, grandchildren, and great grand children.
