2023 Presidential Election: Somolu ABAT Movement inaugurated, sets up excos

Ahead of the 2023 Presidential election, the Somolu chapter of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement (ABAT) was on Tuesday 1st February 2022 inaugurated at the Banquet hall of Somolu local government with the hall filled to its capacity amidst pomp and pageantry.

According to the immediate past LGA chairman and Director-General of the movement in Somolu, Hon. Femi Taiwo revealed that the gathering was to support the salable candidate for the 2023 presidential election noting that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was the right candidate.

He added, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is an exemplary leader that transcends the arrogance of tribal egotism. A trailblazer and trusted hand that can move the nation to a rightful place where it belongs”.

“He’s committed leader with a leadership trait who transformed Lagos state to a megacity from where others picked and build on it when he was Governor of the state”.

“This is the time to pay him back for that wonderful job he has been doing as a leader of the party and after the inauguration, we’re going to be meeting on regular basis to put things in their rightful places”.

“We’re the image-makers of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the grassroots level and we’re going to be sensitizing our people especially the women folk about the movement. The foot soldiers have been inaugurated and the executives sworn-in”. Taiwo stated.

However, the executive chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ has urged the newly inaugurated excos to ensure they execute their duty as expected so as to attain the set goal”.

Meanwhile, the LGA Executives sworn in by the State include Hon. Femi Taiwo (Director General), Owodunni Sulaiman (Scribe), Hon. Mariam Salawu (Woman Leader), Hon. Wasiu Azeez (Organizing Secretary), Omolaja Olulenu (Youth Leader), Femi Abu (Treasurer), and Publicity Secretary.

Similarly, the Director-General of the movement, Hon. Femi Taiwo proceeded to inaugurate 56 Executives covering the 8 political zones in the community and enjoined all to champion the cause with unrestrained commitment.
