Orekoya Alliance Tournament: Ebuka hat-trick seals win for Bariga Ward H

It was an electrifying football match at CMS primary school playground, Bariga between Bariga Ward H and Somolu Ward G where the two teams lock horns for supremacy with Madu Ebuka becoming the most outstanding player of the game scoring hat trick to secure the win for his team.

No. 17 jersey and fair in complexion dude had right from the beginning of the match oftentimes found himself in the right position creating fear into the heart of the defenders who had no other choice than to force themselves on him to deprive him of causing havoc.

Although, Somolu Ward G team tried all they to soak the pressure from the opposition but the Green Jersey team were just too strong for them to tame.

 

Meanwhile, the Bariga Ward H team were strong favourites and have been tipped to win the tournament as they mesmerized their opponents with the tip-tap style of football which paid off 10 minutes into the game when Ebuka latched one into the net from right-wing.

As if that was not enough, the Ward H playmaker doubled it 30 minutes later with a brilliant shot from the edge of the eighteen leaving the defenders and the keeper watching helplessly as the ball dropped into the top left angle of the goalpost.

However, Ebuka scored trice to secure the win for his team and consign Hon. Willy Osha side to a defeat they barely deserved. Osha Ward team equalized late minutes into the end of the game to erase the emptiness but still provided the storyline even if they finished a beaten side.

Bariga side No. 12 jersey, Oyeniyi Boluwatife made the scoreline 4-1 when he sprang above the two defenders and headed home a ball played from the corner kick beating the defenders who manned the defense.

The showpiece was wholesome as the football fans around kept singing the praises of Madu Ebuka for his brilliant skills urging him to keep up the traits and not rest on his oars.
