The Executive Chairman of Somolu local government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ has sent a condolence message to his Ikosi-Isheri counterpart, Hon. Chief Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada (The Yeye Sewa of Ilara Kingdom) on the demise of her elder brother, Alhaji Nurudeen Lawal Alowonle who died on the 25th Thursday, November 2022 after a brief illness.
According to the press statement issued from the office of the council chairman where ‘Dullar’ described the sudden death of Princess Samiat Bada’s elder brother as shocking and disheartening.
“He adds, “Mr. Nurudeen was a complete gentleman of honour who’ll stop at nothing to ensure things are done properly. A goal-getter and exemplary leader of note”.
“This is a man who’s so passionate about his people. A thoroughbred technocrat of high repute who earned the respect of his people through humility and dignity.”
“It’s so painful that he left the sinful world when his service is most needed by the Ikosi-Isheri community but we take solace in the fact that Allah giveth and taketh when He wishes.”
“I pray to Almighty Allah to grant him Aljanah Fridaus and give my sister, Princess Bada, and the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the painful and irreparable loss.”
However, the deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites in his hometown, Odogbolu, Ogun State.
He’s survived by brothers, sisters, wife, and children.
