Hon. Niyi-Osibemekun (Jackal)

The Chairman of Somolu/Bariga Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Niyi Osibemekun, FCA popularly known as Jackal has congratulated the Muslim faithful around the world on the successful completion of the Ramadan fasting and celebration of Eid-el-Fitri.

The PDP scribe while speaking to Somolu News online described the holy month as a sober moment for the Muslims to reflect on how far they have come and how far they’re still going while urging them to continue to live with the tenets of the just-ended month of Ramadan.

“I want to enjoin my Muslim brothers and sisters, to move closer to God and continue to pray for Nigeria because nobody really understands the direction the nation is going right now”.

“The month really is the month to reflect and seek God’s forgiveness and thank Him for His mercy over us. So, I pray that after this fasting, this country will change for better with God’s hands in our affairs because we really need God at this particular point in time”. he opined

In his conclusion, he enjoined friends, brothers, and sisters in Islam to celebrate moderately, stay safe and healthy in compliance with the government’s COVID-19 directives.
