The Secretary to Somolu local government, Hon. Taiwo Adesanya has urged community leaders and followers to take issues of security of lives and property seriously as any deficiency in the areas of security could jeopardize the existence of both human and other essential things.
Speaking to Somolu Newspaper on Sunday where he said good security apparatus must be put in place in the community and must not be treated with kids gloves at any point in time so as to forestall unnecessary breakdown of law and order.
He continued “Thank God the federal government has now introduced community policing which’ll make the community safer and secure”.
“When the federal government gives community policing the desired priority it deserves where the governor of each state has the control, then, we can be rest assured that security of lives and properties will be efficiently protected with less burden on the central government”. he advised
He, however, urged anyone with useful information or something strange that could cause havoc to the people in the community to use his or her wisdom to inform the community leader or the police without being attack as a result of such divulged information.
