It was a befitting final burial outing ceremony for late Apostle Mother Adefunke Abass Victor on Friday 25th September 2020 as Christian leaders, All Progressive Congress (APC) stalwarts and family members not leaving out businessmen and women stormed Somolu Local government event hall in honour of late APC woman leader popularly known as “Iya KAI”.
The event hall was filled to its capacity with high life musician churning out good music to the admiration of the guests in attendance while also praising the children of the deceased.
According to the eldest child and daughter of the late political icon, Mrs Aina Adamson, described her mother as a devoted Christian, lover of Christ, dynamic and epitome of womanhood who taught her children how to have a good relationship with God.
“My mum, no doubt was a hardworking personality, selfless and cheerful-giver who always advocate for people in need. She’s my gist partner, disciplinarian, my rock and pillar. There’s no doubt about the fact that I’m going to miss her so much”. she noted
In the same vein, one of the voices from Somolu political arena, Adekunle Adebambo who was present at the final outing described the late woman leader as a committed member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who has what it takes to get things done especially among the women folks. Hon. Mrs Adefunke Victor A.KA. Mama KAI will be missed by the entire Somolu political community.
Until her death, Apostle Victoria Adefunke Omolewa Abass Victor was a top member of Lagos State kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) Brigade, a devoted member and Apex Woman leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) Ward C.
She was also a committed member of Cherubim and Seraphim Inc., Abule-Ijesha, Lagos where she served her God wholeheartedly and the Somolu Community in general with all she had. Her committed and loyalty earned her so many honours and accolades in and out of Lagos metropolis.
Mama KAI as fondly called died in the month of August 24th, 2020 at the age of 60 after a brief illness. She’s survived by children, grandchildren, sisters and brother who pampered her tributes and condolences in her honour.
