The residents of Somolu Local Government Area have been persuaded by the Executive Chairman of the area to be more patient with the contractors working on their roads.

Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu made the appeal earlier a few days ago through his Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Alhaji Kabir Raji, while inspecting the ongoing road and drainage systems construction on Ajose, Olasode, and Efon Alaye streets.

According to the council chief, the network of roads will be completed in a couple of weeks and residents should cooperate more with the contractors to get the best from the government in providing infrastructure.

When completed, the network of roads will link Shodimu, Anifowoshe, Odunlade, Daily streets of Somolu which will be the best route to link Famous Bus Stop and Bariga.

Recall that the barely three-year-old administration of Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu has fulfilled most of his campaign promises in Healthcare services, education, socio-welfare, security, environmental health service, women empowerment, and Infrastructure as about thirty roads to his credit.
