Special Adviser on Environment to Hon. Abdul Ahmed Salawudeen ‘Dullar’, Comrade Olurotimi Oluyede has rained a shower of praises on Somolu local government chairman, Hon. Abdul Ahmed Salawudeen ‘Dullar’ for the automobile gift as a way of rewarding him for being loyal and dedicated to work as revealed.
“I feel honoured and humbled to have been counted worthy and I see this as a privilege working or serving the people in my community which comes with lots of dedication and commitment”.
“I see this as a call to do more and our aim is to see Somolu as one of the model local government in the state”.
“It also shows that whatever one is doing, one must do it diligently because you never know who’s watching you and fortunately, this comes as a surprise to me”.
“On the issue of hygiene, waste is not something one must keep at home. It’s important one ensure that the waste is properly bagged and disposed of through PSP”.
“I also want to advise Somolu residents to desist from the act of disposing their waste into the canal and drainages as all these ends up blocking the water passage which could cause flooding at the end of the day”. he lamented
“Let remind the residents that we’ve created environmental bye-law and the customary court put in place to try any offender and that’s why we keep enlightening the residents to be environmentally-conscious”.
“On behalf of myself and my family, I want to say thank you to Hon. Abdul Ahmed Salawudeen ‘Dullar’ ‘Mr Imototo’ the chairman of Somolu local government for this genuine gesture”.
In attendance during the car gift presentation are the speaker of the House, Hon. Oshunkoya, the LGA chairman, Hon. Pastor Femi Taiwo, the chairperson of Somolu local government, Mrs Tanwa Salawudeen, the Director-General of Dullar Continua Initiative, Comrade Prince Adeeso Sodiq.
Others include the Special Adviser on Market, Hon. Abdul Rasaq Tajudeen, Special Adviser on Food Security, Hon. Afeez Raheem, Personal Assistant to Chairperson, Somolu Local Government, Hon. Asuku Ogembe and some other party faithful.
However, this is not the first time the chairman, Hon. Abdul Ahmed Salawudeen ‘Dullar’ will be given out or exhibiting such a lofty idea of rewarding hardworking and loyal party members as he vowed to continue to praise and reward committed and revered officials of the council not leaving out members of the Somolu community who one way or the other contribute positively to his regime and Somolu community at large.
