In her normal grand style, the council boss of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada celebrated the Ikosi Isheri LCDA, health workers, amidst pomp and pageantry.
In her speech, she said the health and environmental workers have been at the forefront of the fight against the invisible deadly virus ravaging the world. She stressed how much money would ever be enough to appreciate these health care workers but only to keep praying for them.
The celebration was done as physical distancing was strictly adhered to inside the council secretariat. The Deputy Mayor of the council, Alhaji Adisa, the chairperson, Mrs Muyibat Balogun, the Council-Manager, Prince Olujobi and some management staff together including the council exco were on the ground during the event.
The health workers were full of praise as the celebration caught them unawares.
