The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Somolu chapter is to host an annual festival tagged ” Somolu-Bariga Theatre Festival/Olugbon Day and Beauty Pageant”. billed to take place at Somolu local government and Bariga local Development Area respectively.
The 3 days event which is packaged in commemoration of Senator Anthony Adefuye’s 75 Birthday will bring together all genres of artistic brains to celebrate our creativity craftsmanship to discover and redevelop the skills of Arts practitioners whose art cover musicians, singers, skaters and Visual Artistes for a spectacular performance.
According to the Chairman of Somolu chapter of the association, Mr Ogunse Tosin who said the event is loaded with a lot of interesting features which include Inter Local Government Drama Competition, Omidan ASA Final Contest, Inauguration of LG Executives, Musical Video Premiere, Command Performance, Red-Carpet Reception and rounded it up with Awards and Prize Presentation.
He stressed further “The epoch-making event is essentially targeting between 800-1000 performing artistes and guests for the event and elicits absolute entertainments that physically and psychologically amuse and nourish people.
The previous (8) eight editions were a huge success with its massive turn-out were able to parade different Dance Companies and Performing Artistes of different age Categories all with dexterity and professionalism.
