The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the First Lady of Ogun State, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, on the occasion of her 60th birthday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu described Mrs Abiodun as an Amazon, a devoted wife and mother, and a strong pillar of support in the administration of Ogun State.
The Governor commended her positive energy, developmental initiatives, and compassionate leadership, noting that these qualities have contributed significantly to the growth and wellbeing of the people of Ogun State.
“Today’s celebrant has been a part of my family, not just as the wife of my brother, Governor Dapo Abiodun, but also as a very close friend and ally of my dear wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu. The two of them share the same values,” the Governor stated.
“On behalf of my wife, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I heartily congratulate the Ogun State First Lady, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, on her Diamond Jubilee celebration.
“Attaining the age of 60 in grace and elegance is worth celebrating. Her tenure as First Lady has witnessed monumental achievements across Ogun State. She has also been a strong pillar of support to her husband, Governor Dapo Abiodun,” he added.
Governor Sanwo-Olu prayed that God would continue to preserve Mrs Abiodun, grant her perfect health, and grant her an abundance of joy to enable her to render more service to humanity.
