Infrastructure in Ward D: Ashimi embarks on continous drainage renewal works on Awoseyin Lane

In a vital step forward for the infrastructure drive in the Orile Somolu – Ward D area, Chairman Ashimi’s administration has commenced further work on Awoseyin Lane Road and its drainage channels, aimed to ensure the free flow of wastewater and providing pedestrians with the convenience of easy passage.

​According to the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Alhaji Abdul-Kabir Raji, once the road reconstruction is complete, it will link directly to Market Street (the main road) and also to the Odunlade-Anifowoshe Street axis via its inner Y-shaped channel, thereby boosting socio-economic development in the area.

​Meanwhile, the Community Development Council (CDC) Chairman, Alhaji Telli Tajudeen, alongside his CDA team members, has applauded the current administration for its developmental and timely projects across every political ward, citing Hon. Lateef Ashimi’s impressive impact on the wheel of governance to date.
