Hon. Dullar, in a heartfelt congratulatory message made available to Somolu Newspaper, described the monarch’s elevation as a well-deserved recognition of his exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment to traditional values, and consistent contributions to peace and development within the Agboyi Kingdom and beyond.
According to the former council chairman, Oba Akinmasa I has, over the years, distinguished himself as a disciplined, humble, and committed custodian of Yoruba culture and tradition, whose reign has been marked by harmony, progress, and people-oriented leadership.
“Kabiyesi is a disciplined and committed custodian of our culture who truly deserves whatever positive and progressive status is accorded him, either by government or corporate individuals. His elevation to a First-Class traditional ruler is not only a personal honour but also a source of pride to the entire Agboyi Kingdom and its people”. Hon. Dullar stated.
He further noted that the recognition by the state government reflects the monarch’s enduring efforts in fostering unity, promoting cultural heritage, and supporting developmental initiatives within his domain.
Hon. Dullar prayed for continued wisdom, sound health, and a long, peaceful reign for Oba Akinmasa I, expressing confidence that the new status would further strengthen the monarch’s capacity to contribute meaningfully to traditional governance and community development in Lagos State.
