The Founder of Aenur Ridhoh Islamic Global family, gave the admonition while delivering a sermon on Friday, where he emphasised the central principle of Tawheed, the absolute oneness of Allah, as the foundation of Islamic faith and practice.
According to him, worshipping Allah alone is not only a command from the Holy Qur’an but also the definingline between true faith and deviation.
Sheikh Bashir cautioned that modern challenges, societal pressures, and material pursuits have led some believers to unknowingly compromise their faith by placing trust in worldly powers, objects, or individuals rather than Allah. He stressed that such acts, whether intentional or subtle, amount to associating partners with Allah, which Islam strictly forbids.
“Worship belongs to Allah alone. No man, no object, no spirit, and no power deserves worship beside Him,” the cleric declared, urging Muslims to constantly examine their beliefs and actions to ensure they align with Islamic teachings.
He further explained that true worship goes beyond prayers alone, noting that obedience, reliance, fear, hope, and gratitude should be directed solely to Allah. According to him, any form of spiritual dependence that shifts these acts to other entities weakens a believer’s faith.
Sheikh Bashir also called on parents, religious leaders, and community elders to intensify efforts in teaching correct Islamic doctrine, particularly to the younger generation, to protect them from misconceptions and un-Islamic influences.
In his closing remarks, the Islamic scholar reminded Muslims that unwavering devotion to Allah brings peace, divine guidance, and success both in this world and the hereafter. He urged the faithful to renew their commitment to Allah, uphold righteous conduct, and remain firm in worshipping no other god besides Him.
