Dullar, Ashimi, Omotanwa Salau Felicitate Ex-Somolu Sole Administrator at 63

Leading political figures in Somolu Local Government Area have joined family members, associates and well-wishers to celebrate the 63rd birthday anniversary of the former Sole Administrator of Somolu Local Government and All Progressives Congress (APC) Apex Leader, Hon. Bamidele Williams Lawanson.

In separate goodwill messages, the immediate past Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu, popularly known as Dullar, the incumbent Chairman, Hon. Lateef Ashimi, and a former Chairperson of the council, Hon. Mrs Mariam Omotanwa Salau, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the elder statesman, describing him as a pillar of stability, wisdom and progressive leadership in Somolu and beyond.

The trio lauded Hon. Lawanson for his invaluable contributions to grassroots governance and party politics, noting that his tenure as Sole Administrator laid a solid foundation for administrative discipline, unity and sustainable development within the local government. They recalled his commitment to public service, mentorship of young politicians and unwavering loyalty to the ideals of the APC.

Hon. Dullar, in his message, praised the celebrant for his leadership role and political guidance, stating that many of today’s leaders in Somolu benefitted from his counsel and experience. He described Hon. Lawanson as a bridge-builder whose leadership style fostered peace and cooperation among diverse political interests in the area.

Similarly, Hon. Ashimi highlighted the celebrant’s enduring influence in the political landscape of Somolu, noting that his advice and support continue to shape governance and party cohesion. Williams Bamidele Lawanson (Willy-Osha), as he marks his 63rd birthday today”.
