A 17-year-old boy, Quam Abdullahi, who was declared missing by his family about four months ago, has been found alive and in good health in Ajah, Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos State.
According to a family source who disclosed the development to our correspondent on Sunday night, Abdullahi was located after weeks of anxious searching and sustained prayers by family members, friends, and well-wishers. The source stated that the teenager was found hale and hearty, bringing an end to months of uncertainty and emotional distress.
Abdullahi, who lives in Bajulaiye, Somolu area of the state with his parents, was reported to have gone missing on Friday, 19th of September 2025, wearing an ash Cardigan and knickers under circumstances that raised serious concern within the family and the community, prompting them to raise an alarm and seek public assistance.
His disappearance had generated widespread sympathy, with several appeals made for information that could lead to his whereabouts, which had thrown the entire family and neighbourhood into panic, as all attempts to reach him had proven futile.
The family source explained that Abdullahi was sighted in Ajah following information received from concerned individuals, which eventually led to his identification and reunion with his relatives. Although details surrounding his disappearance and how he ended up in Ajah remain sketchy, the family confirmed that he is safe and currently receiving care and support.
Members of the family expressed deep gratitude to God and to everyone who contributed in one way or another during the search period, including security agencies, community members, and those who shared information and prayers.
