Lagos Businessman and philanthropist to distributes cows, chicken to community for festive season

A renowned Lagos-based businessman and philanthropist, Bishop (Dr.) Emmanuel Abegunde, popularly known as “Oyinbo Jesus,” has announced plans to host special end-of-year festive goodies aimed at putting smiles on the faces of residents and less-privileged members of the community.

The much-anticipated Initiative, scheduled to be held on Tuesday 22nd of December 2025, is expected to feature the distribution of Cows, Chickens and other essential materials to residents, as part of efforts to ease the prevailing economic hardship and ensure that families celebrate the season in joy and dignity.

Speaking to Somolu Newspaper recently, Bishop Emmanuel Abegunde said the initiative aligns with his long-standing commitment to humanitarian service and community development, noting that the festive season provides a unique opportunity to give back and share love with those in need.

According to the philanthropist, beneficiaries will cut across widows, the elderly, youths, and other vulnerable groups within the community.

One of the community leaders and stakeholders, Hon Niyi Osibemekun (Jackal), has commended the philanthropist for his consistency in charitable activities, describing him as a man with a deep passion for grassroots development and social welfare.

Many residents have also expressed gratitude ahead of the Initiative, noting that such gestures will go a long way in strengthening communal bonds and rekindling the true spirit of the festive season as Bishop (Dr) Emmanul Abegunde once again demonstrates his dedication to service, compassion, and inclusive development in Lagos.
