Somolu LG Chairman, Ashimi holds maiden meeting with management team

The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Lateef Ashimi, held an Inaugural meeting with the council’s management team, led by Mr. Abiodun Barbinton. The gathering, which also included Vice Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Ojomu, took place in the conference room and signals the start of a new administration focused on unity, efficiency, and progress.

During the meeting, the council helmsman outlined his administration’s key priorities, stressing the importance of teamwork, transparency, and dedication to public service.

He called on the management team to uphold strong discipline and ethical values, urging staff to collaborate to achieve the administration’s goals.

“Our collective responsibility is to serve the people diligently and with integrity. I believe that with your support, diligence, and commitment, we can transform Somolu and deliver on the promises we have made to our residents. This is a call to action, and I trust that we will rise to the occasion.” said Hon. Ashimi.

The meeting concluded with a clear sense of purpose and a shared commitment to developing the Somolu Local Government.
